Luis Gonzaga Hoyos is professional dancer and dance pedagogue from Colombia who also works as a teacher, working with elements or Didactic Objects. His work in ballet with children is well-known in Austria, the country where he lives and works with children with Down’s Syndrome and where he works as a dancer and actor.
A piece in which memory and memories create a background for the understanding of movement. The past and present as principles of search and communication. Two linked cultures attempting to lie in a common space, where the exchange and understanding of different perspectives support the established dialogue.
This piece was influenced by the music of Martina Camargo and delves deeper into the cultural exchange of both performers.
